Springfield, MO - With Individual Game Tickets going on sale Tuesday at 9am, the Springfield Cardinals are excited to unveil their promotional schedule for the 2012 season.

Returning to the lineup are fan-favorites like AM Pyrotechnics Friday Night Fireworks and Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Sundays. 14 different nights will feature a spectacular Fireworks display including Opening Day, Closing Day, "Fireworks at the Field" presented by CoxHealth on July 4th and every Friday night! There are 13 Sunday home games in 2012, which means that families will enjoy 13 Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Sundays and Kids Run the Bases following the game.

Iconic Cardinals' Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith will be at Hammons Field Sunday, July 1st, to throw out the first pitch as Maria's Mexican Restaurant presents the Ozzie Smith Bobblehead.

For the first time ever the Cardinals will feature three exclusive Busch Stadium giveaway items at Hammons Field. To help celebrate the St. Louis Cardinals 11th World Series Championship, Springfield will be giving away World Championship replica rings on TWO separate nights and giving away a replica World Series trophy on another! As a part of the exclusive Busch Stadium giveaway series, Budweiser will be giving away 2,500 World Championship beer steins.

Friday, April 20th through Sunday, April 22nd, the World Series Trophy will be at Hammons Field as the Springfield Cardinals host the Tulsa Drillers. Your best chance to get your picture taken with the trophy is at the ballpark.

Continuing a popular tradition, Johnsonville's "Buck a Brat" nights return every Thursday and, new to 2012, Great Southern Bank presents $1 Hotdog Days every Tuesday.

The Cardinals are very excited about continuing their community initiative by wearing themed jerseys throughout the season. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on that night's game worn jerseys with the proceeds going to a different charity each night. The specialty jerseys include a 1927 Throwback Cardinals Jersey which will benefit Children Committed to Kids April 21st, Pink Cardinals Jerseys to benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks July 22nd and Camo Jerseys to benefit The Boy Scouts of America July 14th. Multiple other charity nights will be announced at a later date.

New to the promotional calendar in 2012 are four new bobbleheads. First will be the Matt Adams Texas League Player of the Year bobblehead presented by Vision Clinic and Oakley Sunglasses on June 10th, CoxHealth will bring fans a David Freese bobblehead on June 17th, Great Southern Allen Craig bobblehead night will be July 21st, and Jon Jay bobblehead night with be August 5th thanks to Henry's Towing. Cline Dental Jason Motte Garden Gnome will be July 15th, the Mercy Dry-Fit T-Shirt is set for August 4th and the Coca-Cola World Champion Long Sleeve shirt will be May 19th.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS ON SALE TUESDAY

The Springfield Cardinals are pleased to announce that individual game tickets will be available for purchase starting at 9am Tuesday, March 20th.

With a packed promotional schedule for 2012, every Cardinals game is a chance to make a lasting memory.

Individual game tickets for the Cardinals vs. Cardinals Exhibition Game will not be on sale Tuesday. Due to the cancellation of the already sold out 2011 contest, fans with tickets that did not receive a refund were given a ticket to the upcoming game on April 2nd. However, there are a limited amount of tickets attached with the purchase of a ticket package of at least 10 games for the regular season.
