Rocky's Reading Challenge

The Blue Rocks continue their partnership with the Delaware State Education Association to bring you the immensely successful Rocky's Reading Challenge. This program is designed to show kids that reading can be both fun and rewarding. Students are encouraged to read ten (10) books, and if they do so, they receive two (2) free tickets to a Blue Rocks game! Nearly 200 area schools signed up for Rocky's Reading Challenge last season, which means that approximately 30,000 students read their way to Blue Rocks tickets. Congratulations to all of our participating schools and readers. Rocky was very impressed and hopes to have an even bigger turnout in 2018!

Rocky and the Blue Rocks will begin accepting enrollment for the 2018 Rocky's Reading Challenge Program on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Rocks also work with local libraries to promote summer reading programs. Please contact your local library to get involved!
