Blue Rocks Scout Programs

The Wilmington Blue Rocks offer a variety of programs for both Boys and Girl Scouts in our area. Whether it's our annual scout sleepovers or presenting our nations colors before a game. The Blue Rocks are sure to help you create a memorable outing your scouts will remember!

Colors Presentation

Bring your scouts out to present the flags of your troop's banner and our nation's colors on the field before the game during the National Anthem. Your troop will carry the flags to the pitcher's mound for the colors presentation. Both boy scouts and girl scouts are welcome to participate.

Scout Night Sleepovers

2017 will mark the 18th year of the scout sleepover program with the Blue Rocks. Scouts can come out and enjoy all of the benefits of this tradition here at Frawley Stadium, including a post-game camp out on the field under the stars.

Girl Scouts: Friday, August 4 (Registration Form)

Boy Scouts: Friday, August 18 (Registration Form)

Sleepover Guidelines:

  • Scouts must provide their own tents. STAKES MAY NOT BE USED.
  • Each troop/pack must have required adult supervision. Check with your council with further questions.
  • Camping begins approximately one half hour after the Blue Rocks game ends. Following the game, everyone may exit to their cars to retrieve their camping equipment. Only those participating in the sleepover will be allowed back inside the stadium. Tickets will be checked upon entry to the field!
  • Everyone must clear the field / exit the stadium by 7:00 a.m. on the following morning.
  • No food or beverages may be brought into the stadium during the game. Breakfast will be served starting at 6:00 a.m. the following morning. Water will be made available throughout the night once campers have entered the field.
  • Please place your order as a pack/troop. This way your group can watch the game together, and enter the field as a group so you can camp together. Please have one person organize everything for the group and send only one order form per pack/troop.
